HealyFest is produced by ARHS Mac Dude Productions.
​
Our original plan was to bring the first annual HealyFest to College of San Mateo starting in March, but, due to Covid-19, we decided to create a virtual contest instead.
Where did HealyFest come from? Patrick came up with the idea after entering the Campus Movie Fest (at Cañada College). He wanted a way to show that CSM and Cañada had some of the greatest Digital Media programs in the country through an event that was similar to CMF.

Why HealyFest? When Patrick discovered an event called "PaleyFest", he then decided to build one of his own. He chose the name "HealyFest", and decided that it would be in honor of his grandmother (Evelyn Healy). She's the reason he decided to go for a degree in Broadcasting.
​
Who is HealyFest open to? Since this is NOT the first annual HealyFest at CSM, the rules will be significantly different. This means that certain categories will be open to any college student in California.
​
NOTE: The 1st annual HealyFest will be significantly different from the virtual event.
